Only one word can describe this campground: YUCK!!!
I had high-hopes for this place. The pictures on the website looked good. But they are misleading. I suppose if you are camping in a tent – then this place is OK. But if you are in a trailer or motorhome more then 20 feet long then this is NOT the way to go. We were parked, literally, in a parking lot. The space not even wide enough to put out the slides without hitting the bushes. We were an arms length away from the camper next to us. (OK – more like 6 feet but hardly enough room for the car to fit in between us.)
There was no pool or ANY amenities at all.
The good part about the place was the price – in comparison to the other campgrounds at Key West we found this one the cheepest. (You pay for what you get!) What also made this place “bearable” was that we spent most of our time not at the campground but rather in town, in Key West. Either at the local beach, walking the town or doing other “tourist” things.
Despite the campground we stayed out, Key West is definately a place to go visit.
