Discount Camping Programs
We were here for a almost 3 months when we first started our camping adventure.
I give this place mixed reviews.
We had a nice sunny spot. One of very few. Most of the campsites are in the woods. Lots of oak and pine trees. The campsites are also very close to one another. We lucked-out with no neighbors to our right or across the street. (All summer!)
The campground seemed to cater to lots of local people. People who lived within an hour – travel time – coming up on the weekend to party.
Kids running around everywhere with little to no supervision. Lots of drinking going on during the weekends too. I think “quite time” started after midnight.
One thing that was nice about this campground was that there were LOTS of weekend activities planned for the kids and the adults. Baseball games, bingo, dances. It was really a community atmosphere.
The owners of the campground were very nice. Poor Walter spent most of the summer grading the 1 mile dirt driveway. (so much rain)
If you are looking for a good time – this is the place to go. There is always something to do and lots of people on the weekend. Most were friendly!
