This campground is in transition.
Thats not to say it’s not a nice place – it’s just got some room to grow.
The campground is as flat as can be. All the sites are pull-thru. You aren’t sitting on top of the unit next to you – i.e. there is room between the sites.
This is a great place to stay while you are on your way to some place else. It’s right off the highway, with lots of amenities close by.
I spoke with the campground manager while I was there: He was very informative and friendly. Apparently there are some good “local” restaurants and some nice hiking trails & waterfall. We didn’t par-take in anything because we were tired from a long day traveling.
I would return for convenience sake.
This camp ground has grown a lot in the past few years. New clubhouse, pool and in ground hot tub are now completed. Cable has been added to the park also. Perfect for overnight stop off I-95. $25 special in the overnight spots.
